when should I start on it, and how?

Downgrading this time. After this somewhat mystery crash I really don't want to get into fish again for a while. So I am setting up a 5 gallon tank for a couple blue leg hermits and some smaller polyps. And my brain since I really want to keep it. . . . Can upgrade later when the brain starts to get bigger.

I'm going to use the rock I have now and the sand I have now since I've got it and it is all hand picked. And hopefully will be able to keep a lot of the polyps I've gotten for it. Should I just wait for the water to set up and then put stuff in there or should I wait for a while?

Was a 20 gallon. I'm keeping some of the rock, a few zoa frags, the snails and crabs, the brain for now and that's about it.

So should I give up the brain then? It's really my favourite piece
