Whats the difference between a reef and a fowlr tank?

Im trying to create a mini reef tank, but not sure if Im there yet.

My tank includes:

20lbs live sand
10lbs live rock
2 mini compact 10 watt 50/50 blubs
1 power sweep pump
1 HOB with out media
1 false perc
2 turbo snails
5 blue leg hermits
1 small emerald crab
1 small sand sifting star

I want to get into soft corals that require lower light. What is recommended?

What else do I need to complete the reef package?

Thanks for your input.

Fish only with live rock (FOWLR)?

Is odd you can not delete posts, boards I run I have set to allow deletion for 15 minutes after post.

You are correct with the FOWLR definition. Im looking for what goes into creating a reef. Is it the right equipment, corals, fish, lighting?

Someone deleted the dup thread after I went to the suggestion thread. Its magic.
