Water Parameters


Ammonia-5 ppm
Ph-8.2
Nitrate-5ppm
Nitrite-5ppm
I want to know if this is ok for now and how long till the next water change?(planning for some time in the week)How bad is it?

Judging by what you have in your 18gal, 10 week old tank, I'd say that ammonia could do some real damage if left unchecked. I think if you want to save the stuff you already have in the tank, you should do a large water change 50% and do smaller water changes daily 10% until ammonia reads 0. JMO

I agree with Mark's recommendations. I read your other posts about the recent fish losses. The ammonia and nitrites probably were a big part of their deaths. Please don't add any more livestock until the ammonia and nitrites are at zero. Then add very slowly.

Yes, your ammonia and nitrite levels looks like you had cycle due to the deaths of the other fish. the nitrite levels look toxic enough. Wait until the levels drop to zero, then take readings 3 days later then go get your fish.
