Water cycle for 14g BioCube Just have a Question or two

I have a 150g tank that has been established for about two years now. I would like to take the water out of the 150 and put it in to the Cube. Would i still have to cycle it and for how long? Would there be enough bacteria for the Cube to maintain fish if i used some of the LR from the 150? or Would i have to do the old raw shrimp trick?

Thanks Again
Wesley

If you use live rock from the other tank, there will be no cycle. The water won't really do much of anything. Fully cured rock does not go through a cycle, and you will not have any need for using raw shrimp.
