I have a visi-therm 50w heater in my 10 gal. I have been keeping the tank at a steady 78 but yesterday I noticed that the heater was on a bit longer than it normally is, it rarely comes on for more than 5 mins. at a time. So I realize it's been on for about 20 mins. and I check the temp and it's at 79. I waited another 20 mins. to see if it would cut off and it was now at 80. Just as I was about to unplug it, it went off. So I crank it down a degree or so (can't be too accurate with these things) and it seems fine the rest of the day. Well, again this morning I see it on and check, it's at 81! **** heater, it's only about 1 month old. So, what
submersible heater do you recommend for a 10 gal? Visi-therm need not apply.....
