That sucks so do you think it is a bad idea to put clowns or any other fish with it? and does anybody else disagree or agree with this?

sometimes anenomes will kill the clown, even after a lifetime of living togeather, if the clown stops feeding it, or lighting is too low it will use the fish to survive, in the wild, the anenome can always find another clown to feed it..basically thats all the anenome cares about, is food. as long as you feed it, it shouldnt hurt any fish. & actually my maroon clown prefers not to host in anenomes or anenome like corals.

Alright thank you all for helping me out and I know I am going to be a pain in the butt now but if I do get clown fish which one would be more likely to host anenomes?

the condi does not mix with a clown. It is about the only one that clowns will not host. The problem is that it is caribbean, clowns are not. Condis can sting clowns.

young nano, if you go in your lfs sometimes you will see (if they have anemones) clowns hosting in them. If you want to get a clown to host in that one wait till you see one hosting in your lfs. We have a true perc hosting in a condi where I work.
