9 months sounds like a better time frame to me, patience is the key right?

The rest of the stuff sounds great. Nice work Greg, thanks for the effort. Can't wait to get started.

I have to make some calls today to try to find the tank I will be using. I am pretty excited for this. Thanks to all who have put in work to get it going.

Sounds like fun, I especially like the creative judging (participants, TRT, and mods/staff).

Great job to all, thanks!

9 months sounds good to me. This tank will replace my 20 I have now, so it will be around for a long time.

So we aren't limited to a total volume? I'm still going to keep it at 20; I might push 30 (with the addition of a sump) if it's alright.

Does anyone think it might be cool to have a couple different winner categories?

-overall winner at 4 months, 9 months, 12 months.
-best 5g and under, 5- 10r,10-20g...
-grand prize overall winner.

No limit to volume!!!!!! EEEEk!!!! I already bought a 20 cuz everybody seemed to be headed that direction. Can I enter two tanks???? Kiddin yall. Wow! Alot happens when your out of town for a week. Well, I can't wait to get started. BTW I am not all warm and fuzy about they idea of "as long as no water is in the tank". If this is to be a biuld off, then we should all start "biulding" at the same time.

i am waiting for parts to come ( i think this weekend )

think having prizes at short intervails is not a good idea, a lot of things can or cannto happen to your tank during that time.. pictures along the way sounds great to me!.

since htis is a nano.. think casey will notice a few pieces gone from his tank?

lol yeah its got me eying off a 2 foot high octagon ive got sitting around collecting dust that would be pushing 30g even without a sump....
I really want to use the 14inch cube i have, but lighting is a huge issue down here, as ill prolly have to go 150w mh, and that will be an definate issue on the cube, but not such an issue with the octagon.
I just wish we had as much lighting available as you guys!!
