Too Much Light?

Is there such thing? I recently upgraded the lights on my 18 gal tall with to 96 watt quads and am wounding if almost 11 wpg is too much?

What do you think?

As of now I have:
18 gal 18" tall 20" wide 10" deep
cascade 200 power filter
2 96 watt PowerQuad
old 200 watt heater
Maxi-Jet 900
7 lbs marshall island live rock
5 lbs fiji live rock
20lbs CaribSea African cichlid Sahara Sand

1 Blue Damsel

The tank is approximately 8 weeks old and I will soon be adding another 10 lbs of LR and a AquaC Remora protein skimmer. I plan on eventually removing the damsel and adding some corals (unknown) and a couple clowns.

TIA.

it depends on what type of corals you are going to get. lps and acros love high lighting. but if you plan on getting mushrooms, count that out. good luck

Quad lights in 18g

Hi. How did you squeeze in 2 Quads fixtures on this tank? I am in the process of starting up my 18g high tank and was counting on squeezing in just one of these quad lights. I agree that 2 would be better.

I used to run 2x 250 MH on a 20 High. I think that you'll be fine.
