Thinking about Nano conversion - comments welcome!

Hello everyone:

I have a 20H community FW tank that I am planning to convert into a Nano Reef. I plan on having softies, shrooms, and zoos; maybe a frogspawn, or such as well. The tank has never been treated with copper-based medications.

I'm planning on a 1/2" sandbed, w/ seed culture from my big tank, which has been up for almost 4 months. I also plan on using appx. 15-20 lb of LR which was obtained from a tank recently taken down.

For flow and filtration, I plan on using either 2 MJ 600s or 2 MJ 1200s, pointing at each other in the back. I plan on getting the large aquaclear filter, and either running purigen in it, or possibly runnning it as a 'fuge. Also, I may add one of the small lee's cc skimmers.

For lighting I'm planning on using a 1X55 or 1X65 PC, retrofitting, the current lighting strip.

What do you think of the proposed setup? Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

- Michael
