Something Hatched in the Minibow

I don't know what and I never did see it but here's the story.

A week or so ago I did a fairly good glass/tank cleaning. The very next day I noticed what looked like egg sacks stuck to the glass. There were 8 or 10 of them. They were approx 1/16" in diameter, looked like a clear bubble, and contained approx 6 little white specks inside (looked like grains of sand).

About 1 week later the clear sacks had a small hole directly in the center and the little white things were gone. All the egg sacks hatched within approx 24 hours of each other except two still have one little white thing left inside.

This is totally cool and maybe one day I'll figure out what hatched out of the egg sacks.

And Maybe one day I'll own a decent digital camera so I can post pics.

from what I've been told they are most likely snail eggs.

And wouldn't you know it today I spotted three very tiny little snails --- YEA.

i have seen something similar of what you are talking about and have a bunch in my tank. mine are a little different though. not sure what it is, but if you leave your lights off for a couple of days and in the middle of the night, turn it on you might be able to see them swimming across the top. (or is it the other way around about the lights) i dont remember. anyhow, i havent had any damages from them. or the wierd worms that swim kinda like mosquito larvae, or the wierd bugs with wings that appeared one day.

o well
