Question

snailsquirt

in my new little nanocube i have a couple of snails that seem to be doing fine, when earlier this evening i caught one of them shooting out a stream of tiny white particles that filled the tank--

--AT THIS POINT I WILL SPARE US ALL CRUDE JOKES--

--but what's going on here? i have this fear that i'm going to wake up in a few days and i'm going to have a trillion little snails sliming the reef!

p.s. this is not the milky white substance i've seen the snails shoot out, but rather a fine stream of particulates that circulate the tank for a while.

It's OK if you end up w/ a trillion snails.

Just round them up and trade them to either fellow reefers in your area or a good reef LFS.

We have one lady in our club who trades baby snails almost monthly and is constantly getting free frags for her snails.
