Snails and hermits

I have a 20 gallon long tank, and was wondering about how many snails and hermits i should have in it. And what do you guys think would be the best to have for a reef tank?

10 snails and 10 hermit crabs should be sufficient

i use nassarius to sift my sandand keep it clean and then hermits to control the algae..nassarius are the best snails in my opinion because there not big and clumsy and they scoot everywhere lol

its probably a scarlett reef hermit, red legs and a yellow face? the turbos eat lots of algae but they get nearly golf ball sized and are dozers. They can knock over anything not glued down. I like nassarius and margerita snails personally.
