Skimmer, filter or nothing in BioCube 14 camber #2?

While setting up the BioCube 14 I bought -and returned- Oceanic's own skimmer for chamber #1 and now I am looking for a better skimmer or a better filter to fit in chamber #2.

Tunze has the DOC Nano 9002 skimmer

and SubCurrent has the 8026 filter (sorry can't post links, newbie status)


either of which could (?) fit chamber #2.

Please sound in with your opinions/experiences. Too much effort and cost for little or no return? Is the stock filter sufficient?

I'm new here also and just bought the Nano Cube 14 a few days ago. I have not set it up yet. Are you saying their are problems with the filters.

ya they suck...they r very inadequate......ive had mine for 3 months and the light have just about crapped out and the fans 2!

if u can get it, drill it to lead to a small sump then your golden!!!
