Replacement Bulbs for 12gl Nano Cube

I've had my 12bl Nano Cube for over a year now and the lights are getting dim...are the JBJ replacement bulbs the best bet or are there other bulbs that perform better w/o any modifications needed? I have corals and 2 shrimp...
