ive got one in my house, i have a little zoanthid colony, a couple of mushrooms, some leather coral fragments, a bit of calurpa, and a peppermint shrimp, its pretty cool and works out well its also pretty inexpensive to start and maintain. got to top of very regularly though =P.

I had one for about a month and loved in until algae started its inevitable crawl up the sides of the tank. It's so small that I found it hard to keep cleaned off. No matter how carefully I tried to scrape the sides I'd end up with water sloshing over the top. I ended up abanoning it. I hope you have better luck with your's.

BTW...I found that one of the small t-rex under the tank reptile heating pads did a really good job keeping the tank warm.

Cheers...Michael

the filter is just a sponge pad, so its not really that "advanced". i use a toothbrush to clean the walls of mine.
