Recent developements.
I've had some recent developments in my tank in the last few months. First of all I just put an order in for my PC lights the other night and they are scheduled for arrival on Friday. Along with my new heater and my adjustable powerhead. With this setup I should be able to house any soft corals and maybe a few hard corals.
I still have the same stupid Blue Damsel. I added a Peppermint Shrimp, and a Mexican Turbo Snail. I also have 4 small Nassarius Snails to keep the sand/rock sifted. I added a few more pounds of LR bringing my total up to about 12 pounds.
As far as corals go, I am currently housing Whitten's sick corals along with a few impulse buys that I had. Right now I have: two clusters of green star polyps, four or five small mushrooms, a ricordia, and my nice big chunk of Zoanthids. My tank actually has some life in it now. Next I'm moving my Damsel to my secondary tank and putting in a mated pair of True Percs and a bulb anemone. Does anyone think that this anemone will cause problems with my corals?

Is the tank a 10gal, how mature is it? is the new powerhead gonna be easy for him to get too?

The tank is a 10 gal. and it's been set up for the better part of 6 months. The powerhead is going to be positioned at the top of the tank. I don't know how easy it is going to be for him to get to. I have plenty of cover for him also. I'll be flowing somewhere between 275 and 300gph. So the likelihood of him searching for more flow is going to be slim to none, correct? I still don't know too much about these things. I just know what I've read in the past. I'll also have 130Watts worth of light. (65 flor. and 65 actinic)

I would think that would be enough, he will definitly dominate the tank though, almost all of it, which can be quite pretty. It might be a tad on the small size, so im just wondering if your lfs or someone else could take him if he isn't doing well?

I figured as much. The real question I had was: Is he going to disturb my corals at all? Have you heard if that compound used to anchor corals is safe or not?
If he gets too big, I can take him to a couple of stores I know of that will buy him back from me. I saw a deal in the ATL area that was too good to pass up. A Bulb Anemone and a mated pair of True Percs for $100. Which has been the best deal I've seen on something like that in a long time. I also have another 10 gallon I can move him to if he starts to conquer my main tank. The other 10 has about 1.5" of Live Sand and a few chunks of LR. I'm also about to order the 50/50 florescent bulbs for it so that I can have enough light to maybe grow some coralline. Right now it's housing Whitten's Damsel and mine also. (which I had to capture by taking almost every peice of rock out of my tank and messing up my near perfect set-up.) Those will be sold back as soon as I can get around to it. I was going to use that tank as a Watchman Gobie/Psitol Shrimp tank but who knows. I'm just playing this as I go.
I just want to say screw it and buy a 200 gallon and be done with it.

I had a bubble in my six gallon. He did fine until he found the intake to my power head. But he did no harm to my corals. As for the compound to stick corals in place, I am not sure but was thinking about tring it myself. I have a emerald crab that likes to though stuff.

Jesus that's a lot of stuff for a 6 gallon. I just ran across the epoxy stuff in the Drs. FosterSmith book and thought I'd give it a wurl.
Also, could you post or e-mail me a pic of your flame coral. This is one that I've been considering for a while and wasn't too sure about.

I'll send a photo asap. I have a lot in such a small tank because everthing is small. If any thing gets to big I put them in my 30 gallon and look for something eles that is small.

If you look at the post "my 6 gallon" in this nano section you can see a photo of my tank. the flame is on the left side above the anneome and below the orange sponge.

Power Compacts are in!!! They look awesome. My Zoas seem to like them a whole lot along with my star polyps. Whitten's Ricordea is getting larger/healthier also. Especially after I added those lights. I have a 2x65W 24". I also got my new heater and my powerhead running as well. I now have about 300-325gph of flow. I took the @$$shole damsel fish out and now I'm looking to buy a mated pair of True Percs and a long tenticled anemone. I'll post pictures up tonight.
