Purple Tip Anemone

I am purchasing a 12 gallon Nano-Cube off Craigslist for $150, it has zoanthids, multiple mushrooms, hermit crabs, "tiny starfish", stomatella snails, a elephant ear mushroom and a purple tip anemone.

I pick the tank up tomorrow, but was wondering about the health of the PTA in a 12 gallon tank with stock lighting? I have a 24 gallon as well, but again, simple stock lighting.

So I guess im asking...is it worth trying with the anemone, or should I just find him a new home?

It is likely an Condylactis nem, though it is hard to say for sure with common names. They require strong light and 20 gallons or bigger tanks. They are also mobile and can sting, making them a risk to have with corals. If it were me I would look for a new home for it.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Find it a new home, unless you decide to upgrade the lighting.
