power compact vs. t5


newbie needs help. i have a twenty gallon high. i want the ability to grow most any corals. what are the advantages to power compacts and t5? disadvantages? i am either going with a 55x2 pc, or a 4x24 t5.

dude for one you can pack more T5's in the same space, they run cooler and they have a greater lumen output. Oh yeah it's being reported that T5 bulbs need to be replaced less often.

check into Metal Hallides, they make alot of heat though

well i think 1 - 70 watt MH with some supplamental light would be perfect
