I took my live rock out of my nano to rearrange it. And gosh did it stink!!! Obviously not fully cured. What can you tell me about letting it cure in the tank? The snails died the otherday but the 3 hermits seem fine. I have no plans of adding fish for quite a while. But i would like to start decorating with shrooms and frags. Can I start that yet or how long do I need to wait?

You need to wait til it's fully cured to add any livestock. Crabs are too mean to die. Use a test kit and when your ammonia and nitrites are at zero then you're good to go. No need to test though as long as the rock is failing the sniff test.
