overfeeding shrimp?

i have 2 peppermint shrimp that beg me for food everynight, i have trouble saying no to them. i feed them one shrimp pellet (ironic i know lol) one pellet a night that they share, well really one runs off with it and the other chases him down.
but can these guys over eat? im afraid ill find them dead and bloated one morning
how they became trained you may ask? well i target feed my open brain mysis shrimp a few times a week, so this trained the shrimp that when its lights out its time to eat. so on the nights i dont feed the brain the shrimp are going nuts this is why i started giving them pellets

Just keep up maintenance on the tank i don't think the shrimp will over eat but the excess food may cause a problem.

I don't think they'll over eat but it's alot of phosphate for a small tank.

Not an expert, but my blood shrimp eats a lot every day (grocery seafoods), may be 5 cu.mm. Have to monitor water parameters, of course.

My Red Banded Shrimp is a big old pig. If I put pellets in he comes out of his cave and gathers as may as he can. Last night I put a piece of raw shrimp in there, It was do big so I have to chase him down for 20 minutes to get it back. I swear one day he is going to explode

My cleaner shrimp bullies my clown around at feeding time. It is so funny.

Does you clown hang out at the top of the tank when the lights go off? Mine stays up there all night and is on his side. it is so weird!!!! He finally comes down in the morning.

I hand feed my ppm (Bloody is his name) a small piece of meat every night. He's spoiled... but I just can't say no either.

Everything that goes into the shrimp comes out, in one way or another. And everything that goes into a small tank adds up fast. Shrimp are scavengers, you might want to make them earn their keep a little and feed them directly a little less.
