Oops, forgot to post the picture. It wouldn't let me delete the post, even 5 seconds after posting?

Hmm, so what should I be feeding these? And I do have a decent size clam/muscle and some little dusters, not to mention those coo looking freebie shrooms I got. That is an awesome pic.

I have found that most of our corals can get by without any direct feeding especially in a Nano where feeding could cause many unwanted problems with such a small water volume.

For the clams I would try to target feed them with a dropper type arangement.

I personally havn't feed my two fish in my big tank not one drop of food for the last 6 months and they are totally fat and happy.

I have also not put anything in my Nano tank (food or addatives) other then a two part calcium addative and kalkwasser. Never anything else --- not even once.

Yea I wish I had a good digital camera -- my tank has gone through alot of changes lately and is looking awesome. Hopefully I can get somebody to come by w/ their digital camera sometime in the near future and then I'll post some new pics.

I've never target fed my corals at all, well, actually I did buy a bottle of Kent's Micro-Vert in a moment of stupidity 6 months ago, and I've slowly doled it out into the tank during that time, but haven't emptied the whole thing yet (500 mls) only using it cause I didn't want to throw it out, don't think it helps anything. I do use Seachem Reef Plus and only like it cause the LFS's extend their tentacles dramatically when I dose it, twice a week. Mostly I use flake food(!) which my Fungia's and palythoa's certainly relish. I have a Aqua-C Urchin sump skimmer which I'd never accuse of overskimming, though I'm satisified with it. I dose Kalkwasser and use Seachem Reefbuilder and Calcium alternating in my top-off water. pH is 8.24 with little fluctuation night or day (20 gallon refugium on alternating light cycle) salinity is 1.023, calcium around 425 normally, alkalinity a little low at 6-7, below detect on phospate, nitrite and nitrate. I've had the toadstool leather practically since I set up the aquarium 8 months ago. Very hardy, even endured a Mela-fix dosing to combat an infection on a coral beauty which killed a similar short-tentacled yellow toadstool. He's my absolute favorite coral. Glad he hasn't grown to gigantic proportions. Though I'd love to frag him and get babies.
