Hey everyone,
I've had my 20 gallon up for a few years now, and I've had no problems with any of the inhabitants. I have 3 rose tip anemones, lots of mushrooms, a
christmas tree worm rock, and for fish I have a perc. clown, a fridmani pseudochromis, and a fat happy mandarin. I tested my water for the first time -ever- and my nitrates are thru the roof. My fish don't show any signs of stress, the anemones recently split and reproduced, the mushrooms seem fine! Only real outward sign is my tiny
scarlet hermit just sits around, not as active as he should be. Should I even be worried at this point? What else could be causing this? I did a big water change and re-tested and was still at the same reading.. in the 'red'. Any suggestions or ideas would help, thanks in advance.
