Welcome to TRT Dru! Is that a 12g or 24g The hood alone would be worth more than 150 the way it's modded

It looks like a really good deal if the pic you posted is the actual tank. I would ask how long has it been up.
Can you get a pic of it set up with the livestock?

Well find out how old the bulbs are. Even if they need to be replaced it's a very good deal. It's just good to know because old bulbs will lead to some algae. Find out how old the sandbed is and if it is over a year old I recommend replacing with fresh sand to avoid nasty toxins from leaching into the system. Use enough of the existing water to cover the rock and transporting fish and any extra water save to put back in the tank when you set it back up at your home. This will help keep the tank from cycling again tho you may get a mini cycle but nothing major. If the sand is old keeping it could cause a huge cycle and could harm the corals. Good luck with everything.

i got the tank tonight. i bought the wrong darn salt at jacks aquarium and pets store. the lady sold me the wrong salt, its FRESHWATER salt lol.... i didnt kno there was even a difference. ...
now for the details. the tank is in awesome shape, nothing wrong with it. the seller told me the crust looking colorful stuff on the back of inside of tank is what grows in it but it needs to be cleaned everyso often... he told me every 2 weeks change 3 gallons of the water, and when i add the water to it, put 1 cup of salt per 2 gallons.. is this all sound correct?
the tank has blue moon lights on it, and 2 fans on the top of the lid, its very quiet too.... the live rock looks cool, he put it in a bucket with a small amount of water and a damp towel over all of it, will this last until i get off work tomorrow inside that bucket? also when do i add the live rock before or after i fill the tank. ... how good are the filters in the tank and how often do i need to take it out and clean it or replace it?
details would help me out alot! thanks again guys!!
