Are you still using the Oceanic skimmer? How is it working?!!

Awesome tank. I have always wanted to have brighter lights on my AP but I worry to much about having the lid off.

and i got the skimmer in my 1st chamber.... its the one made for the tank...its like 50 bucks... but it does the job also if u haven't push down hard in chamber one and remove the false floor... it pops out easy and put the heater there so u can use chamber 2 4 main filtration

Couple quick updates. I set up my 7 gal mini bow for a frag tank so I can move some of that Xenia. Got a coworker that wants some and the store owner that I got it from originally said to bring some in for trades.

Also I got a six line wrasse and a couple peppermint shrimp yesterday. I've been wanting a new fish and particularly have wanted to try a wrasse out. I figured he can help with the flat worm issue as well since I am reluctant to use FW exit in my tank unless I absolutely have to. The shrimp are to take care of a couple aptasia that are getting started as well as to add some movement to the tank. They are funny to watch running all over the tank together. The Wrasse went straight to the rocks but that is to be expected for a while I imagine. He didn't pick any fights so that's good, he just eyed the Perc who eyed him right back and then went about his own business.

Lastly I found a 20" Sunpod so when it arrives I'll be adjusting everyone to the new light and then possible looking into some tougher coral when I frag out that Xenia. If anyone else wants some Xenia I'd be happy to hook you up in the So Cal area. The frag tank should be servicable in a week or two, it's just cycling but the rock is pretty well cured so I don't expect it to take long. I may try to find a 16.5" 70W Sunpod or maybe a clamped Halide for that tank so the frags stay under the same type of lighting as the main tank.

Thanks for the update. Let us know how the wrasse does on your flatworm issue. Best of luck with the new lighting as well.

My wife said first thing this morning the Wrasse was out and about and when I got home he was still cruising around looking nice and happy so that's good. Finally have something in the tank that appreciates the nice big cavern in the middle, he's poking his head out of all sorts of random holes and such. The shrimp are doing well also. It's funny to watch them move around. They are far more active out in the open than the fire shrimp who stays in some cover all the time.

I'll keep everyone updated and let ya know on the lights.
