Couple quick updates. I set up my 7 gal mini bow for a frag tank so I can move some of that Xenia. Got a coworker that wants some and the store owner that I got it from originally said to bring some in for trades.
Also I got a six line wrasse and a couple peppermint shrimp yesterday. I've been wanting a new fish and particularly have wanted to try a wrasse out. I figured he can help with the
flat worm issue as well since I am reluctant to use FW exit in my tank unless I absolutely have to. The shrimp are to take care of a couple aptasia that are getting started as well as to add some movement to the tank. They are funny to watch running all over the tank together. The Wrasse went straight to the rocks but that is to be expected for a while I imagine. He didn't pick any fights so that's good, he just eyed the Perc who eyed him right back and then went about his own business.
Lastly I found a 20" Sunpod so when it arrives I'll be adjusting everyone to the new light and then possible looking into some tougher coral when I frag out that Xenia. If anyone else wants some Xenia I'd be happy to hook you up in the So Cal area. The frag tank should be servicable in a week or two, it's just cycling but the rock is pretty well cured so I don't expect it to take long. I may try to find a 16.5" 70W Sunpod or maybe a clamped Halide for that tank so the frags stay under the same type of lighting as the main tank.
