Welcome, Wesley! Tell us what kind of coral you like. Many of them can be kept in a tank that size, so help us narrow down the suggestions!

Welcome to TRT!!!

I think it would be cool to use the Biocube as a grow out tank for zoanthids for the 150. You could buy small frags for the BC and when they get big enough that they will not get lost in the 150 then transfer them over and start the cycle again. Zoanthids come in so many colors that even though it is the same type of coral it should still give you lots of diversity.

I don't have a nano tank like that, but if I did I would probably keep a few of the small peaceful gobies in it. I would think the 14 gallon would become a little cramped for a pair of clowns after a while and if you were not able to transfer them to the larger tank then what would you do?

i was talking about a pair gobies i do agree a pair of clowns would be very cramped and i was also reading up on taking the bioballs out but iwas thinking of running a pair of gobies and a cleaner shrimp and a assortment of snails and hermits with some softies and so forth

As long as you have live rock in the main display then there should be no need for the bio balls in the back chamber. They will just collect detritus and unless you are going to be diligent about cleaning them they will eventually cause problems with your nitrate level.
