need advice on a making a 6G nano reef, is it possible?

hey, all. this is my first post here. as you can see I like clown gobies

anyway, all my life, i have wanted a SW tank, and I finally have an opportunity to make one. the unfortunate part is, I have VERY limited space and budget, so if I want one it can only be 6Gs. now I have been told it would be possible to make a FOWLR 6G tank, but a reef is out of the question. is there really no coral I can do, even shrooms? the lighting is 18 watt 50/50 power compact. what would be a good stocking for a tank this small? i'd only want to get a clown goby and a scarlet reef hermit or two. just how hard will it be to maintain a tank this small?
your input is valued.

Welcome to TRT!
You could do shrooms and button polyps in a 6g nano Sun corals possibly
If you keep on top of waterchanges the tank really won't be that hard to maintain. I would plan on 1-2 gallons a week

Yup you should be fine with some shrooms and zoos and suncoral as they need fed not light.

Clown Goby and a crab or two and a snail or two would be fine!

Welcome as well.

If you can get another light on the tank that would be great? How wide is it??

Can seahorses be kept in a tank this small ?

Working on a 6g nano work up , got a 13w pc retro on order. wife wants a manageable tank at work. She really has her heart set on SH but I have no clue on them.

I have great news! I found an awesome deal at my local petco on an everything included 12G nano setup. the light is too small for most corals, though... I think shrooms would be fine. hmmm... i'll get an ocellaris clown, and an emerald crab, and maybe a few snails. depends on if I get hitchhikers and what they are.

I'm not sure I'd post this question in the seahorse forum and see what they say

oh, don't worry. i'm sure even the smallest of seahorses wouldn't thrive in there.

Get a 96w PC light over it and you can keep about anything. They are only 18" long!

The dwarf seahorses would be fine, Wolf, but you'd have to hatch brine shrimp every single day, since they require that to survive. Anything else would be too big...
