nanocube 12

Looking for some input on the various models. My daughter wants one so she can have a little tank in her room. Has anyone had good luck with zoas and mushrooms and a couple fish in the regular one? Can they be upgraded later by mods?

Also, any feedback on the nanocube vs biocube vs any others that may be better/ worse.

Capt !!! Long time no post!! How are you? the ****ations?

I like my nano cube and for shrooms and Zoa's no mods should be needed

I'd probably stick with 1 fish though I only have 2 in my 24g

When we were looking at a nano tank for my office.....which we just purchased a few days ago, we read reviews and talked to people in reef stores. We went with the Oceanic Biocube. But since i just purchased it I can't really say either way what's better. I'd say...on top of asking people in here......read reviews and ask around in reef stores.

I have had my jbj NC12dx running for over a year now and have had great success with it. I have shrooms, zoas, and xenia all thriving in it right now. I used to have my Favia moonstone in it also but moved it out when I setup my 45 gallon. I have two false perculas (paired and hosting on a ricordia) and a yellow watchman goby. The only mods I did were a refugium in the middle chamber and the light mod so I could have my night lights on a separate circuit then my main lighting. Oh and I swapped out the stock pump with a maxijet 900, the stock pumps are awful.
