well, I suppose that depends on what fish and what corals. I can't think of many fish that you are going to get more than 3 or 4 in a 24.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

If you get 3 or 4 they need to be very small. A 24 gl tank would be best w/ only 2 or 3 fish, the bio load w/ more will cause you to need to do a lot of water changes or you could be run over by algae in a few months. The limit on corals depends on what kind of corals you want put in the tank. Some are 'dirtier' than others. In general, the corals will not cause as much waste as the fish and are not much of a limiter if you have an adequate amount of live rock (20 - 30 lbs or more).
