Great Quacker....Look foreward to meeting you. I have a 10g with the 96w pc 50/50, too. Maybe you and I will find something to share. And for those with less light (I have one of those, too) Eric had some nice ricordea rocks last week. I'll check on those and keep you posted. Shrooms......generic colors last time I was in there, zoos pretty much the same. He has a large tank of " nuttin' but frags" and then lots of tanks with full size corals.
Marie, hope you can make it. I dont want to be too outnumbered
Keep the RSVP's coming!

Hey Nicole. What colors did they have? I may need to make a road trip. All I'm seeing up here is green and brown.

Well I joined ARC mostly for the nano SIG, but will be out of town the 27th. Bummer! Will definitely catch the next one.
But, for CKReef, is there a meeting place for that event with the speaker yet? I live in the Buckhead area, and my apartment complex has a pretty nice gameroom/clubhouse, that might be good for a meeting. Just a thought. Let me know if there is any interest.
No great tanks to gawk at yet. Unless you count an underlit 18g via aqua with nice xenia, zoos, and shroom frags courtesy cyberchef and the last ARC meeting.
Anyway, will try to make the next nano SIG, and willing to help with the location for a meeting if needed.

Hi Rails
I believe Rick_O is going to host the Nov. meeting but will definatly use your location for a future meeting. I really appreciate you offering. And a Nano w/ xenia, zoo's and shrooms is just fine to gawk at. Could you please send me your first and last Name, TRT alias (Rails) and a valid e-mail so I can get you on the Nano SIG e-mail list.
As a sneak announcement --- I live so far away and there is not much chance of many people seeing my Nano. --- So I am bringing it to the regular ARC meeting for the month of Nov. That meeting will be the elections meeting and should be held at Eden Gardens ---- Eden Gardens is an assisted living complex that we use from time to time. There is no tank there so I figured I would move my Nano in for a day and give everyone something to do at the meeting other than vote in the elections.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh ----- Don't tell anyone --- Remember this was a sneak anouncement.

Hello all up coming Nano SIG attendees. I am in need for some macro algea. I lost all of mine during my recent "refugium issue". If you have a small piece to spare, I'd really appreciate it.(So would my shrimp and crab in a now desolate sandbed)
Thanks guys,
Nicole
PS I'll sweeten the deal......trade a limpet for some macro!

The meeting itself should last from 12:00 - approx 1:30 --- this all depends on how much talking everyone wants to do and if we have any corals to split up at Nicoles house.
After the meeting (for those interested) we are planning on taking a field trip to The Fish Garden for a group purchase and fragging of some coral(s).

Welcome to TRT and our Nano forum!
Hmmmm......about your tank......
First, let me ask you this, are you happy with it? Is it just what you want? Or do you think you might get into corals and softies like mushrooms? I know others will chime in, so here are some questions to ask yourself:
What is my ultimate goal?
Do I have enough light, filtration and circulation to sustain life for a long, long time?
How attached am I to these damsels?
It would be helpful if you gave some more info. about your setup,ie:
lighting
filtration
substrate
how long its been set up
water quality
things like that.
Again, welcome to the club and keep asking questions!
P.S. I'm good with your crabs and liverock

Well I was really looking forward to the meeting. My tank is just begging for a new frag or two... however my car is experiencing technical difficulties that I wasn't able to resolve in time. I don't trust it making it all the way to Peachtree City and back... esp. since I have to be at work by 6.
Here's hoping November works out!
Have fun y'all!

I'm sorry, I probably should have mentioned this before. The Fish Garden is actually on the way back to interstate 85. In other words, its on the way home for most folks. Its not out of the way at all. No extraneous driving required.
