Considering moving fish back if needed. Glad I have that option.

Huh,.. Hard to tell,.. but I definitally think it's either sand that got kicked up or a bacterial bloom. Not having any Ammonia is a big plus.
The potential problem is 02 depleation in a situation like this,.. so make sure you have a skimmer going,.. or if you don't have one make sure you have a powerhead rippling the surface of the water and plenty of fresh air getting into thi hood.
If your worried,.. moving them back would be a good move you could put them in the sump of the 125 for now,.. like a fuge area or you could put them in the main tank in a big breader net.

Water change is obvious, but is that all?

Not worried yet. The output of the pump looks like micro bubbles but there is no bubbles, if this is any help.
How big of a water change?

Nitrate is still sitting, but looks good half way into it.

All what? There is nothing you can do to make this go right away if that's what your asking, in a couple of days it should be gone though

25 gallons available for a change. Obviously with it only being a 12g, most of it was for the 125 later tonight.

If it were me I would pull a bunch of water out of the 125 and use it for a 100% change on the nano,.. then you can use all the new water for the 125.

Phosphate - 0
Nitrite - 0
I could smeel algae when I did the first water change. Water is still cloudy, but looks better. I may do another 5 gallons later on tonight.
