well... i wouldn't go with a nano cube as the hoods are difficult to modify and it's just easier to DIY your own hood... and cheaper too... because you don't need all the filtration... just water circulation... go spend $20 at wal-mart and get a tank... then spend the money where it counts... on the powerhead and lighting...

I got mine for $150 from aquabuys on ebay.

Sam is awsome to work with. I think these tanks are worth the money and alot of the mods are not necessary IMO....

I think what kind of tank you're going with for a nano is dependant on a couple of things. What you want to keep in it, of course, and if the nano is going to be in your office at work or eslewhere that is high profile, you're going to want it to look as uncluttered and simple as possible. Also easy to care for!

Deciding on the best tank and set up to fit your particular siutation and providing the best environment for the animals takes some research.
