Nano Cube 24 DLX Metal Halide?

Hey there. After a long hiatus, I am back into reefing. I have just setup a Nano Cube 24 DLX. Basically took everything from my mothers 72 tank. About 50lbs Fiji rock, 10lbs Florida livesand, 2 feather dusters, 1 Condy anenome, and various polyp corals that I had put in the tank. She is no longer willing to maintain the 72 gal so I am converting it to freshwater for her. She seems to think that freshwater loks "cleaner" with alot less work.

Anyhow, getting to my question, has anyone ever seen/heard of/done a metal halide conversion for the Nane Cube 24? Dont even know if it would be possible due to heat issues, but figured I would ask. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help.

powerquad might be closer to what you want. Still keep some SPS (even acros) and a lot less heat. SPS might have to be kept closer to the surface, but it may be better than what it comes with. I don't know exactly what it comes with, but you might look into a retrofit like that from hellolights.com or somewhere like that.
hth,
Jon
