Turbo Snails Question

Hello,

I just bought 4 turbo snails, and they seem to be at the top of the aquarium (quarter way out of the water) and not moving from there. Anyone heard of this, or had this happen?

Thanks,

Hello, I just got my Nova Extreme 4x24 Watt lights in today, which look awesome. I also got my Marine Depot Refractometer, and found out that my salinity was at 1.026, way higher than the 1.024 my swing arm hydrometer said... I will be fixing that this week!

The Koralia 1 also looks great, awesome movement for my little 20 G.

Here are a couple of pics with the new equipment! Enjoy

Nice looking setup. Have those turbo snails began cruising around yet?

thanks guys,

the turbos are all over the place, haven't really had any troubles with algae. I also added a couple of corals lately, a toadstool leather and a finger leather (sinularia sp. I think), as well as a firefish and a Percula Clown.

Here are a couple of pics

in my opinioin you should keep your salinity at 1.026 rather then 1.024

yeah, I agree, actually I was using a swing arm hydrometer, and it was reading 1.024. I recently got a refractometer, and it ended up measuring 1.026, so I've been keeping it at that salinity
