Going out next week for some vacation. Ordered two true perculas on my LFS so when I get back they'll be ready for pick-up. I'll post some pics when they arrive.
Have you all a nice weekend!

Hi again
I got a little surprise. When we're visiting my LFS for supplies for our Beta my wife picked two Ocellaris and bought them from me. I gotta take some pics and post here. BRB.

Little acident!!!
Hey folks!
Thank you all for the words. I put a lot of efforts building the tank with low budget and space. I'm glad the someone is enjoying.
I had a little accident last Saturday. My tank bottom broke (my fault!!) and I had to run to my LFS to get a new one. They did not have another 10Gal, the smallest one was a 20. I was in a rush so I bought it. Everyone is fine (fishes & corals) "so far". I hope they survive to a new cycling.
Now I need to get more LR for the new tank ASAP. If anyone has any suggestion to help me keep my stock and frags alive during the new cycle, PLEASE do so.

In regards to the petco lr...I have spent time from time in there...the have a lot of no informed people there resulting in cheap livestock...the sold my a dragon wrasse once and labeled it a clown goby!
the rock w/ the pink blouch is a petco rock i got for 17$...pink blouch is a xenia...to say you live stock find something to put them in say a large bucket this say the fish and the coral and let the tank cycle w/o them...thats one way to deter possible death...Im not pro @ this so if some 1 else can chime in will help!

The whole purpose of a "cycle" is to allow beneficial bacteria to grow on surfaces within your system. Therefore, if you're cycling with cured live rock and live sand, and you can fill the tank with real ocean water, rotating in RO/DI water during water changes, it should give you a very soft cycle. In this situation, I would slowly re-introduce critters over the course of several weeks to allow the bacteria to grow in response to the higher bioload....but thats just my opinion and what I would do.

you may want to see if you LFS can babysit your critters and coral until your tank cycles, they will be safer out of the tank during the cycle.
