My Biocube 14 adventure

So after a brief vacation from reef keeping I'm back with a vengeance. I've made a few minor modifications to a 14 gallon Biocube. No pics at the moment so for now use your imagination. First off I removed the stock pump and added a MJ900 with a Hydor Flo. Then I removed all the bioballs from the second chamber and added another MJ900. For this I used some vinyl tubing and a dremel. THe second MJ has a Hydor device on it as well. You might say that the flow in this little tank is rather chaotic.
The next mod was to remove the stock cover and build a custom canopy . I gutted the old cover and replaced the 10k bulb with another 24W actinic bulb. Then I added the fans, moonlights, and the 48W actinics to the canopy. Next up was a 70W metal halide retrofit. Sometime this weekend I'll add a small Kalkwasser drip to the canopy and a refugium in the last compartment. Are you confused yet? Pics to come later.

Sounds like a very cool nano setup. I will be looking forward to the pictures to see if they live up to my imagination.

Not sure if I'm happy with the aquascaping. I love this live rock though(Totoka)

In this one you can see the dual hydors. Is that metal halide shimmer?

After doing some poking around I've decided to use submersable led lights for the refugium. Now I just need to find a source.
