I have 2 Nano's. one is 10-gallons with 2 18" fourescent bulbs. one 50/50 one has a purple hue to it. my other tank is a 12-gall JBJ NanoCube aquarium. it has one 50/50 24 watt PC bulb. in the 10-galloni have one
blue devil damsel, and a pumping xena. i had a longhorned cowfish, but he got killed by Hurricane Charlie. in the 12-gallon i have a
green mandarin. tonight i transfered him to the 12-gallon from the 10 gallon. i've had the green mandarin for about 6 mo's. the filtration on the 10-gallon is a skilter 250 sumpreme filter and a penguin mini. i do not reccommend the skilter at all. it is good as a power filter, but horrible as a skimmer. i had a problem with the aquarium filling with air bubbles and could not solve the problem so i took the skimmer tower out and put the bag of ceramic rings and bio-balls from my 12-gallon that i was instructed not to use in the reef setup. after i did that, the aquarium has never been clearer. i have never seen one as clear as this. i plan on putting some macro in the skilter and adding a palm light. if i don't do that, i may get another penguin mini and hang it on the back of the skilter and remove the filter cartige and add the macro to it along with a palm light. if anyone has any advice against doing that, please notify me. as for the 12- gallon, i have the stock wet/dry in it, and it does great for the filtration. i plan on adding som macro to the filter in the back and hang a small PC light over it inside the hood. i may also add more activated carbon to it to make sure it staye nitrate and nitrite free. again, if anyone has any advice onthe, please let me know.

CRAZY MAN, CRAZY!!
