Moray's for a nano

I gotten my son a JBL 24 gallon cube and he wants a moray for it. I'm thinking that a snowflake would do well in a tank that size. Any comments on that idea or alternative suggestions? Thanks.

Cheers...Michael

They will rapidly outgrow that tank. Not worth having in anything less than a 125g IMO

Thanks. I'll go with one of the smaller morays.

CBA has a small eel in their nano that sits on the counter. I don't remember what kind it is but it's small.

yeah thats the gold dwarf moray. they are kinda rare and pretty **** pricey last one they had was $300.

I had a chestnut eel in my 12g for a while(till it jumped into the sump and then got sucked into the pump )

he rocked

Plus they are only like $30. Just make sure its not a viper eel. they look very similar and the vipers get really big and are MEEEEAAANNNNN

I've wanted that eel at CBA from the moment I first saw it when CBA first opened, but I'm not putting a $300.00 eel in my 7 year old son's tank. I'd be hard pressed to put a $300.oo fish in one of my tanks!

I like the look of the chestnut moray but I've neevr seen one locally or on line. EnderG60, where did you get yours?

Cheers...Michael

Yeah I saw that thing and wanted one, then saw the price...uhh maybe not. I got my chestnut when i worked at under the wave. He came in on some live rock. They had another larger one that was about 10" long for $30 about 6 months ago. Any place should be able to get them though.
