Sorry for the loss of her favorite fish.
I am glad everything else seems to have gone well for you though.

Can't wait to see the pictures!
Do I recall correctly, you have aHarlequin shrimp (pictures of your tank)?
Do you feed them live starfish? What is your experience with these?
I'm a new to the hobby and I just started with a 75g. I'dlove to have these srhimps but I'm not sure how difficult there are to keep.
Thanks for the great pictures!

Hey Carmel.
Yes I do have a trio of Harlequin shrimp. They are VERY interesting creatures, and are by far my favorite shrimp. They are not difficult at all, providing you give them the necessary environment. If you are willing to provide them live starfish on a weekly or Bi-Weekly basis, and have a peaceful tank, you should have no problems with Harlequins.
Now for Megans Tank:
I know the picture quality is not very good, but I was not using My camera.

The tank looks really great, I wasn't expecting less from you!
Glad to hear the shrimps are worth to get.
If it is not too much trouble (or expensive) to get the startfish I'll definitly get a paire of these beautie!
Thanks!

I feed mine Chocolate Chip stars one per week. I get my Stars for 7.50 at the LFS.
So I am looking at about $400.00 per year since I feed every week. But I could cut back to twice per month, and I would be looking at $200.00 per year. But I Like to keep them full.

The tank looks very good and it seems that a few things are close to fragging time.

Yeah, the Duncan has over 70 heads. Megans Cleaner shrimp ate a few, but nothing to worry about.

I don't think she would miss a few heads here and there at all either.

Well we just got back from the beach. Megans skimmer is already cranking away. Half a cup of the nastiest sludge youve ever seen!!!!
Usually the elos skimmers take a week or two to kick in, but hey Im not complaining.

A report on the Tank.
I cant believe how amazing this tank is. It is doing so well. The corals look 100X better in this tank than they ever did in the previous. I dont know if it has to do with the lighting or what, but they sure look happy.
Megan is finally "over" her little blenny. We are both still very sad that he is no longer with us, but we are looking for another fish for the tank.
