Live rock question

I am attempting to re-establish a 12gal tank. In my greed I picked up 20 lbs of Tonga live rock and 20 lbs lava rock. Can I use the Tonga rock and a few pieces of the lava and dry the rest of the rock? Also what is my calcium level supposed to be? Sorry for the ignorance but when I was running the tank YEARS back the only resources I had were and the store.

In a 12 gallon nano all i would put in it is the 20 lbs of tonga live rock. i wouldn't bother with the lava rock. Also not 100% sure on this but i think lava rock isn't good for a reef tank?

Calcium level in a healthy reef tank should be between 425-450

Yeah 20# will probably really fill a 12Gallon!

Just use Tonga!

Thanks. Am going to set up the rock over the next couple of hours. The Tonga has absolutely gorgeous shapes.

I used Lava in my first tank , only a few pieces. Never was able to get anything to grow on it but was nice to have for tunnels.
