Lights for a 22 gal

I have a 22 gal tank that is 20 inches deep. Currently i have two 32 watt power compact lamps, one 6700k and one 12000k bulb. I am trying to figure out what light system to upgrade to. Im thinking one 96 watt power quad. will this give enough light for a reef tank or should i look to VHO or metal halid?

i gave some wrong info... i have 2 36 watt power compacts. one 7100k and one 12000k... same question

After I read the title but before I read the post I was thinking the 96 watt Power Quad so we are at least on the same page.

If I could of only figured out how to easily retro that above my Minibow 7 that is what I would be using. Unfortunatly I had to settle for less due to space constraint above the Minibow.

I have the following on my 20 gallon

2x55 White 10k
2x55 Atinic

comes to 11 watts per gallon...
