No power heads just the Aqua Clear 200 but I don't feel it's enough flow. One day I'm going to switch to a TetraTech 300 I have sitting around. Need to redo my custom canopy in order for the TT300 to fit properly.
Orange Montipora digita
Purple Tip Montipora digita
Orange Montipora capricornis
Green Bali Slimmer
Pocillapora (I think thats what it is)
2 types of Fire Corals
Caribean Star Coral
Unknow encrusting sps coral
Ivory tree coral
I think that covers it for the sps type corals. I also have a couple of LPS and a bunch of softies/zoo's/polyps

Here's a pic of the hairy acropora I've had in my 10 gallon for about 1 year. And here's a macro of the same guy.

Nice pics. I am excited about starting a nano. Once I have figured it out at home, I plan on setting one up in my classroom. Keep the good info coming in. Any thoughts on bacic equipment, pointers I might need to know in advance, etc.
Thanks, Roger

It's in the 5th month now. SOme of the sps corals have worked and some have not. Most of the sps I named have been in since basically the begining.
I started out with completely established LR from my main tank so there was virtually no cycle time. The reef was packed full within a few days of setting it up. It's gone through alot of changes (livestock wise) in the 5 months. About midway through I had a chemical warfare problem and wipped out 3 or 4 sps corals.
It was all my fault. Everybody kicking butt Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon the house got a major cleaning (you know the kind --- everything smelled clean). I guess the corals also smelled the clean cause by Sunday morning 3 or 4 sps corals gone and a few others not looking so great. Oh well leason learned.
Just remember if you can smell it --- your corals are eating it.
