John's 10 gal NANO

Well here it is, the plan is for a 10 gal nano with the back partitioned off to serve as a sump with pump and heater area. The hood/stand was from an idea from a lfs called "Waves" (thanks guys for letting me ask all those questions). I plan on running a 175w mh with 20k bulb. Here are some pics of the hood/stand and one with the bare tank in the stand. I will post more as this progresses. enjoy

Don't forget to stop over when you are ready for your ro/di. I have plenty on hand. Hood looks great, was that mine I saw in the background?

Slow down Jimmy, I think you have enough on your plate right now....we need him to pin down a construction schedule for my hood/stand. Although, moving from my 1gal beauty to a 10 gal reef gives me the chills. What do I do with that much space....Oh yea, buy more frags.

EASY BOYS, remember good thing come to those who waits.

Besides this is the prototype. Let me work out all the "Man that would have been a great idea" ideas first.

Like the fan we need to come up with a better way to mount it. The overflow took alot of Dremeling to get it right, but OH YEA BABY its working.
The heater may be problem since the ones I've got are all to big to fit in the rear and we don't want it up front taking up space for corals or rocks, right. Anyone know a smaller good heater????? The good stuff is the divider is working great, stopping the bubles from getting around to the uptake of the pump, and with the Maxi-jet 1200 there is plenty of flow for sps or anything else.

Here you go Steve and Jim more pics
