Thanks guys for all the comments about the woodworking This was a pretty cool project, just a few peices of wood from Home Depot and a couple days waiting for the glue to set then a few more getting enough Varathane on it.

Here an update the divider problem was solved as well as the bow in the back panel by basically making a brace that keeps it from bowing back, but allows the water to get to the pump. The pump really puts out some force. Have yet to have any problems with air bubbles getting to the pump. The heater problem was solved by (I know, don't laugh) putting it in at an angle (thanks Steve )

It is working great and now has saltwater and some rockscaping
( Thanks Jim your the man ) and running at a cool 79 degrees. Just waiting on lights, COME ON UPS and I can put the hood on and sit back and enjoy and dream of the corals I want to put in it.

Here's a few pics of the tanks final location up and running, Lights for sure by the end of the week.

Not my thread, but....

The whole idea behind nano reefs is to keep it simple and cheap. The rock will provide enough bio material if John can control his stocking.

Time will tell!

Looking nice...come on UPS!!!

Well here is the final poduct...... All of it came together, with the help of some great guys ( Steve and Jim, Thanks) The temp is running at a even 81 degrees with the lights on after a few mods to the fan opening. I installed a moon light just for effect and it looks really good I have added a few corals and they are loving the light and flow and will post more as they are added.

Here are just a few photos of the tank, enjoy

The next thing to add will be an auto top off
