Is this normal?

Just set up my first nano on saturday, its 10 gal with about 10 pounds LR and 5 pounds of rock i had from a previous tank. This morning i looked at the tank and the LR has a sort of cobweb growing on it. Should i worry or what?

Yea I though maybe sponge too. It's hard to tell weather it's sponge or die-off

i guess if it just goes away on its own its dead matter...if it continues to look the same, its prolly that sponge

I had those when my rock cured. I got rid of them. When in doubt vacuum it out. (I'm a poet and don't even know it)
