i turned off my skimmer

i had to i couldnt take those millions of micro bubbles floating throughout the tank. now finally i can see without looking through what looked like a snow storm. the fish seem to breathe a sigh of relief too, now they are swimming around instead of staying in the small no bubble zone.
so now what? bad idea? its not comletely turned off but its not producing bubbles so i guess its disabled.
the skimmer is a skilter filter in one, yeah i know ive hear bad things now i know why lol
but i cant seem to find a small under 12" skimmer that will fit on the back of my 10g tank
any suggestions? maybe just running the skimmer once in awhile would be sufficient?

How long have you had the skimmer on for. Most of the time the micro bubbles will go away with time. You want to run the skimmer 24/7 if you can. What brand of skimmer is it?

There are mods for it.Like put a air stone with a pump.You'll have to try searching up at the top of page.

Hard to say if this is a good skimmer or not but its small.
