I have a question

I was wondering if the Fission Nano Skimmer would be over kill on my 2.5 gallon tank? The Hob filter has a sponge and chemi-pure in it. Would the Fission Nano Skimmer fit in my 2.5 gal tank as well or is it to big?

Thanks

I tried it on my 5.5 it didn't work well at all I wouldn't spend the money if I were you. The amount of water it pulled out and the bubbles in the display far out weighed any benefit

Ya that fusian skimmer is a terrible design, I would go with a HOB and just dial it back if I wanted a skimmer on a 5 gallon.

I dont think you would really benefit from a skimmer in such a small volume of water.I would just keep with water changes and you would be fine.

i agree, for a 2g tank just do a weekly 1g WC with some natural seawater from petco. easy stuff.
