How to make mushrooms spread everywhere

I have some purple mushrooms and some lavenders and I want to know how to make them propagate. As well as my Xenia's (Pumping) and my clove polyp.(Keeping in mind my 18gal is only 9.5 weeks old) And who could have eaten my big electric blue hermit and my little hermits as well as some of my snails.

My tank is a bit younger than yours and my one Xenia is now three. For my Xenia I had it sitting next to a larger rock and it just sort of attached itself and pulled apart (I'll paste a pic below) and voila! Two Xenia. Then tonight I seperated the original piece into two frags... it was about to split on its own so I lightly helped it along.

Someone around here mentioned a great little video clip at garf.org Check it out... it shows how to cut the Xenia into frags. Looks pretty easy. As for mushrooms, don't have any yet... but I will by the end of the week so I'd be happy to know how to frag 'em up too.

oh and Prip: I've got 96w but I've seen folks say they're doing it with 30w or so. I suppose that would have an effect on the growth rate etc... what's your setup?

Quacker mentioned GARF. You can find all kinds of info on propogating shrooms as well as acro, leathers, and yes xenia. Shrooms are probably the easiest. Just pull it off the rock and attach it to another rock. The little bit you leave on the first rock will grow a new mushroom. Now, don't go and do that. I was just giving an example of how easy it is. You actually need really really sharp scissors or a scalpel and just cut the head off leaving the stalk to heal and grow a new shroom. Then, take the head and cut into pie shapes. Attach pieces to new rock using netting and rubber bands.

Check out GARF for more info.
