Hi Speed critters

Ok as we go into week 2 of this new 24Nano cube I notice something after the lights go out. I thought I spotted something earlier with some pretty good size antennae. I beleive what ever it is came with piece of my live rock.

This is actually a chunk of dead coral reef and full of pockets . There are some little guys that just fly up and down this thing but only if the lights are real low. Any light and they hide. I am guessing some kind of shrimp? They run up and down this thing like a spider on steroids.....

The big guy I dont have a clue about yet. Just saw some feelers of some kind before he hid...

Sounds like amphipods. They're a type of crustacean and harmless to beneficial for your aquarium.

How big are the antennae? If you get another look at them, see if it's possible that they might be small, skinny starfish legs. If you don't have a magnifying glass yet, you should get one. Hours of fun!
