Hermit Crabs

Write now I have three blue legged hermit crabs in my new tank, not the electric blue legs but the smaller ones with little orange/red leg joints. I am running a 12 gallon nanocube. My question is can you put more in the tank for more clean up with out having them fight? I don't want to start Rambo 4 in my tank! I was thinking about adding 2 or 3 more. Can you put other hermit species in the same tank? Thanks- Jason

i have a nine gallon tank with six hermits in it. they all are fine. i wouldn't get any more than six. i also have three snails. i think you'll be fine if you add more hermits. they make great cleaners.
