Is this a good light for a 20 long ?? Disregard the xtra info (copy paste)

1 x 175 Hamilton (used to be a pendant/definately a retrofit, but works fine) think it is the same setup, now mogul, that they run in the MH tanks at SF.

Bulb is a 12k(?) Hamioton, basically only has burn in hours on it, so you have months until you'd need to sink any money into a MH bulb.

2 x 55 pc is a PFO retro kit. Right now I am running 2 03's as supplementation.

I think that this set up would work out OK for a 20 long. I ran a 150 and the 110pc over a 20 H and got good color/growth.

If you plan on going into the really high light demanding SPS, you may run into issues depending ion the piece, but even I see this with my 250.

You would need a reflector, Dirk is good for these, and a hood to mount the retros in.

I think that I could let it all go for $100. Like I said they are used retros, but for the price until you really decide what you want ot change, if anything it would be a really cheap set up.

$100 sounds like a good deal. It will work but you might be limited on the softies you can have. But on the other hand almost all LPS and SPS corals should work fine along with some clams.

Really depends on what you want to keep in the tank.
